Established on December 21, 1999, Niba Hospital stands as a pioneering institution in Arunachal Pradesh. It proudly holds the distinction of being the first private hospital in the region to attain government recognition. Our commitment to exceptional healthcare has led us to initiate the "Smile Train Project," a charitable endeavor dedicated to offering free surgical interventions for individuals born with congenital defects in their lips and palate. To date, we have completed over 685+ life-changing surgeries through this initiative.

The hospital holds a significant role in the development of the health sector, not only within Arunachal Pradesh but also in India. Arunachal Pradesh, despite having a lower population compared to other Indian states, grapples with a literacy rate of 65.8% as of the 2021 census and faces challenges in various other healthcare domains. Given India's substantial population, there is a considerable demand for multi-specialty hospitals like Niba Hospital in the state, owing to its commitment to delivering the highest standards of healthcare services, both for minor and major medical diseases and conditions. This commitment is manifested through the hospital's extensive healthcare and wellness programs.

Niba Hospital has conducted and sponsered several free health camps alongside collaborating with many recognized NGOs for example Donyi Polo Charitable Trust, Taba Tat Foundation, Techi Jully & Ratu Foundation, etc. conducted in various districts of the state in addition to that providing free medicine, lab investigations, vaccination etc. accompanied by specialties doctors and health care professional during free health camp.

In light of the recent global pandemic, COVID-19, Niba Hospital, located in Naharlagun is the first private hospital in Arunachal Pradesh to be accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) and to perform RT – PCR tests in the interest of the public to subside the Covid-19 patients galloping in the state. Niba hospital management committee diligently adhered to social distancing protocols and ensured that all medical practitioners on its staff were vaccinated, thus contributing to the containment of the spread of the virus.
